Session 3 – $10NL

Things did not go well….actually that’s an understatement lol

Starting BR: $319.46
Ending BR: $274.70
Profit: $44.76
Running Profit: $3.20

Starting VPP: 3203.68
Ending VPP: 3306.96

On the upside I did make SilverStar tonight and should make it next month no problems so my rakeback should be around 20% equivalency next month and likely clearing $150 in bonuses, I just need to stop my graph yo-yoing like it has been but I think that’s a mindset issue of feeling like I am making headway and then trying to get too tricky for the level of players I am against at the moment.

Session 2 – $10NL Full Ring 26/02/12

Got off to a bad start with dropping 3 buy-ins in the first 350 hands. Managed to get a rally going though as I knuckled down and focused more. Got lucky with KK > AA once but also had some coolers towards the end like K7 < K8 on a K78 flop blind v blind.

Got up to $43.90 at the high point then had some run-bad meet play-bad and ended up only banking $15.30 over 2812 hands in 139 minutes

Starting BR: $304.16
Ending BR: $319.46
Profit: $15.30
Running Profit: $41.56

Starting VPP: 3082.68
Ending VPP: 3203.68

Session 1 – $10NL Full Ring 25/02/12

This was a quick session to test out the combination of TableNinja, Holdem Manager 2 and Tablescan Turbo to make sure I had everything configured as I wanted.

Couldn’t really do any wrong this session, ended up $26.26 up for the day though peaked at $35.45 in 78 minutes, 715 hands and making 24.7 VPP

Starting BR: $277.90
Ending BR: $ 304.16
Profit: $26.26

Starting VPP: 3057.98
Ending VPP: 3082.68

Change of direction

As any visitor to the site may have noticed, it has gone a fairly radical change in design which is intended to go hand in hand with a change in direction for the site. The focus for this site from here forward will be my renewed journey into the world of poker, both online and live, as I work my way back up the limits to find my game again.

After black friday I lost a lot of motivation to play online (along with a chunk of money behind held by the U.S. DOJ) due to the uncertainty of the future of sites even if they weren’t US-facing. I have taken time to watch what happened in the industry and given the lack of action towards the sites that didn’t continue to accept U.S. players after the initial issues a few years back, along with the seeming continued operations of Pokerstars for non-US players, I am feeling more confident in putting in the time and effort at the tables again. This motivation is also helped along by the fact I want to get a few people a few things that my current employment wouldn’t allow so I feel now is the time to rededicate myself.
